My name is Kevin James and I am the founder of English Language Coaching. When I set up my service in November 2009, my aim was really clear:
To offer an English language advancement service for ambitious learners…that actually works.
I have met literally hundreds of driven learners that want, or need, to reach a truly advanced level of English; but cannot make further progress. These are some of the most common concerns I hear…
I’ve been studying for years but I feel stuck!
The majority of our clients have been studying English for years. Many have lived, or are currently living/working, in the UK or an English-speaking country. But, despite their effort and immersion in the language they have not been able to push through to that next level.
I speak well but I need to dominate English!
Most of our clients are professionals that speak very well. General conversational demands pose no problem. Academically-speaking they are advanced. But, when they have to explain little details, nuances and abstract concepts, in real contexts, they really notice their limits.
I don’t know how to reach an advanced level!
Most learners are improving on some level through various random methods/activities. But they can’t make that big, noticeable shift because they have no plan. They are guessing their own way to improvement or placing their trust in courses/classes which also do not really follow any results-based strategy or plan.
