They just 'teach' English. Many organizations successfully market an image of educational authority and expertise yet possess no really effective method.Often even in the most prestigious and popular language learning institutes the methodology is shockingly one-dimensional, random, old-fashioned and/or completely dependent on the individual efforts and creativity of their teachers.

In reality however, most language instruction services do not actually need an effective method because most of their learners are unaware of how to learn languages (this is why they pay somebody else to teach them). As a result, if they do not improve they normally just assume that learning a language is difficult and takes a long time instead of blaming the organization.
