Our philosophy

Speaking English at an advanced level is undeniably an advantage in today's society. For some, in terms of career development, it has become almost a necessity. This need to communicate effectively in English has been marketed and exploited to the extent that millions of people are prepared to spend considerable amounts of time, energy and money trying to acquire English as a second language. Nevertheless, only a small minority of these learners actually end up being able to speak English really well.

Our coaching philosophy is essentially based on the belief that to speak English really well, you need to know ‘how' to learn. Naturally, if you are living in an English speaking context for an unlimited amount of time, achieving fluency may not pose a problem. Nonetheless, for individuals with limited exposure to English and a restrictive schedule, not having an effective strategy means they will probably never speak English at an advanced level.

Many learners are unaware of how to learn English. As a result, they often place their trust in the knowledge of language tuition experts.  The most popular choice being commercial language instruction services. Regrettably, from our extensive, collective experience within the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) industry, the vast majority of these organizations may promote the prioritization of learner needs yet they are usually far more concerned with profit than education. The truth is they merely teach English. They do not actually teach people how to practically learn English. As a result, progress is always extremely limited and time and money is wasted. 

We want to want to change this situation by offering a more realistic, efficient and honest approach to the limited methodological contexts of language schools and other such commercial systems. We want to  provide a service that genuinely works. Naturally, we are also a business yet we are sincerely motivated more by the passion we feel for our ideas than financial gain. We expect to be compensated for our time, work and expertise NOT our ability to speak the language with which we were born.

Our hope is that by empowering learners with the knowledge of what is really required to speak English at an advanced level, they can take more responsibility for their own improvement. They can proceed autonomously and intelligently, without wasting time, energy and money on over-priced or ineffective methods.
